Connecting Children to naturE & CULTURE

This program focuses on outdoor education and follows a land-based education approach intended to nurture confident, curious, capable, and connected children and families. The content is place-specific, explores ethnobotany, and celebrates diverse heritage and history. Our curriculum is designed and facilitated by a master educator (MEd) and is supported by Texas Master Nautalist volunteers. Each program includes open exploration, story time, time spent in our native habitat and vegetable gardens, and an outdoor cooking activity.
NURTURING HEALTHY FAMILIES

In addition to learning healthy recipes and creating healthy meals, a healthy breakfast for all is included in each program because know nourishment is essential to learning and caregiving. Parents are also provided free classes on parenting and teaching outdoors.
NATURE ACCESS EQUITY
